Dinosaur Storybook: the Forest at Night

While the main character sleeps, other creatures scurry about in the Late Cretaceous forest, including mammals and troodontids.

Back when I did the illustrations, there was very little reliable information about troodontids available. They were even theorized by some to be more closely related to ornithomimosaurs than deinonychosaurs if you can believe it! As a result the troodontids in this piece look embarassingly naked compared to modern restorations.
