Mmm... Marabou

The "adjutant raptor" is a concept that never made it to the Spec website. I think it may have eventually developed into the adjutant roc, a big carnivorous palaeognath, though I can't really remember the details well enough. What I do remember is this naked-headed dromaeosaur loosely modeled after a marabou stork wasn't my idea, but I was happy to take the opportunity to try drawing a secondarily featherless dromie.

I might not have posted this guy at all, but I just had to do it in response to Maija Karala's dinosaur lip drawing.

Don't ask what a Swedish chocolate brand has to do with it, though.
