Magestone: Dragon sketches

A couple of sketches I made trying to get a better grip on the anatomy of the dragons of Magestone. Unlike the traditional winged western dragons, the dragons of Magestone are all crocodylomorphs of some sort. In our world they might be classified as mesosuchians, although they have traits no animal in our universe could share, such as the ability to survive on magical energy while in a state of torpor, which gives dragons the ability to hibernate for centuries without food.

The species depicted here are from top to bottom: Dahaka or fiery dragon, the largest known terrestrial dragon species; Sirrush, a small and agile species of dragon that largely inhabits the same range as Dahaka; Tarasque, a now extinct dragon that was supposedly even larger than the Dahaka, but may just have been a western subspecies (the small creature under the Tarasque's tail is a griffin, which is not a dragon.)
